081. Chicken with mushrooms in cream sauce (recipe)
Time to break up the run of dessert recipes. This time I'll tell (and show) how to make a not very difficult but very tasty dish — chicken with mushrooms in cream sauce.
Details and photos, as usual, under the cut.
Cooking time ≈ 30 minutes.
I made a lot (about six portions), so feel free to halve the quantities.
Ingredients:
- 600 g chicken breast
- 6 cloves of garlic
- 400 ml cream (20–22%)
- 50 ml vegetable oil
- 400 g champignons
- 80 ml soy sauce (preferably "Classic")
First cut the chicken breast into cubes.
Fry it in vegetable oil until lightly golden.
While the chicken fries, finely chop the garlic.
Cut the champignons into cubes.
When the chicken is almost done, add the garlic. After a minute and a half or two, add the mushrooms and fry over a high heat, stirring, for about five minutes.
Add the cream and the soy sauce (no need to salt or pepper!). Turn the heat down and wait for the sauce to start thickening.
Serve the sauce hot, with boiled rice or pasta.
Bon appétit!
