062. Pasta carbonara (Italian recipe)
Not long ago, in the #twismak column (on Twitter), Artem Shurgalsky told and showed how to make pasta carbonara. I simplified the recipe a little, which didn't affect the taste at all ;). See what came out of it under the cut.
Cooking time ≈ 20 minutes.
Ingredients:
- spaghetti
- cheese
- olive oil
- champignons
- bacon
- garlic
- 10% cream
First lightly fry the sliced champignons.
Warm finely chopped garlic in heated olive oil, then take it out (so the oil doesn't turn bitter but picks up the garlic flavour). Slice the bacon.

Tip the bacon into the oil, fry until translucent, add the mushrooms, pepper lightly and stir.
Pour the cream over the mixture (≈ half a glass), turn the heat down and warm it through — we need the cheese to melt. Add the grated cheese and stir.
The more cheese (and the less cream), the thicker the sauce. Meanwhile boil the spaghetti or pasta, arrange it nicely on a plate and pour the sauce over.
Bon appétit!
