078. Meat rolls with mushrooms (recipe)
As you've probably guessed, I love cooking dishes with mushrooms in them. It might be lasagna with mushrooms and meat, it might be chicken and mushroom julienne, or it might be pasta carbonara.
Today I want to tell you about one more recipe that isn't very quick but is fairly easy — meat rolls in sauce with a filling of onion and mushrooms.

Cooking time ≈ 1.5 hours.
Ingredients:
- 500 g beef or pork (I used beef)
- 300 g mushrooms (champignons in my case)
- 200 g onions (about four small ones)
- 150 g mayonnaise or sour cream (mayonnaise is better, but it's a matter of taste)
- 150 g ketchup or tomato paste (also a matter of taste)
- salt
- pepper
- vegetable oil
First finely chop the onion.
Then finely chop the mushrooms.
Fry the onion in vegetable oil until golden.
Add the mushrooms, salt, pepper, stir and fry until done (ten to twenty minutes depending on the heat).
Slice the meat, tenderise it, salt and pepper lightly.
Put the mushroom filling onto the meat, roll it up, fasten with toothpicks and lay in a pan heated with vegetable oil. Fry the rolls briefly.
Mix the mayonnaise with the ketchup.
Put the rolls into a baking dish and pour the mixture over them.
Put into the oven and bake at 180°C for half an hour.
Bon appétit!
